Answers:  Q1: Serving.  Q2: Serving.  Q3: Serving.  Q4: Serving.  Q5: Serving.  Q6: Serving.

God is all about serving. It is His very nature. He started serving in the Garden. He served us humans after the fall and expulsion. He served the Israelites by leading them into the promised land. (He didn't have to do that.) He served Israel by setting up kings. He served Israel by sending prophets. He served us ultimately by standing up from His throne in Heaven, taking off His robe, walking over to the cosmic elevator and pressing "E" for Earth and plummeting down here to serve us (just so we could kill Him. How's that for gratitude?) He served the disciples at the Last Supper, the public every single day, and all humanity at the cross. Today, what's He doing? Serving you and me.

God is all about serving. And if our faith isn't driving us to our knees to serve others, we likely just don't get it. We may have some kind of "faith," (like religious people of all faiths do) but it's not a saving faith. ("What good is empty intellectual assent ... nothing better, really, than what the demons have ... even if it's really, really strong emotional assent / agreement?")

That's why SinglesOfFaith.Com is more than just an online dating service for millions of single Christians. (If the truth be known, the dating is the "bait" - albeit a totally legitimate bait - so that God can also get our attention for Kingdom service.)

Our vision: millions of single Christians on our knees monthly in the midst of a hurting world, serving others into the Kingdom.

Servanthood: The Very Nature Of God Himself ...

Human redemptive history is filled with repeated accounts of God "coming down" to our level to reach and serve and empower and encourage us, to lift us up to Himself. (He doesn't just "call down" from above somewhere. He dives underneath us and lifts us up.) Some would say the highwater mark of Jesus' pre-crucifixion servant life was John 13:3-10, when He removed his garments and chose to "go for the feet" of an undeserving people (His disciples.) And the Word tells us He'll be stooping down again soon, coming down to our level to lift us up to be with Himself in eternity. God's strategy seems to be, "go for the feet of a dying world" to restore it, to bring it back to Himself.

God's Invitation: Out Of The Stands And Onto The Court ...

God has consistently demonstrated that His call is not for us to leave it up to Him to do the "go for the feet" servant work, but to demonstrate that we are His by the very same servanthood. We show we are His by becoming servants. Matt 25:31-46

Have you ever been to (or seen on TV) a tennis match between world-class competitors? There are thousands of people in the stands, and millions watching from their armchairs, being entertained by what's happening "down there" on the court.

And then there are the two men on the court. Only two out of millions.

Question: Will you leave your seat? We'd propose that is the call of Christ.

"Leave your armchairs and follow me." "Drop your nets and follow me." That's the proof that we really are His. Belief is not enough. Even the demons believe (Jas. 2:19) and stay firmly planted in their chairs. Watching. Observing. Unwilling to leave the stands and walk onto the court. Waiting for others to get out of theirs.

Let's Demonstrate To A Dying World That We Are His ...

Our vision is for millions of single Christians "takin' it to the streets." On the third Saturday of each month, in every city in America where we have over a thousand members, we announce the address of a parking lot in each of those cities where 1,000+ single Christians meet in jeans and tee-shirts and head for the inner city. It's there we rebuild city blocks, clean up ravaged neighborhoods, feed the hungry, clothe the homeless, visit hospitals, rest homes and prisons, tutor the illiterate, assist the elderly. Just like Jesus did. Just like He'd be doing today. The Word is clear that a genuine relationship with the living Lord will "leak out" in the form of servanthood. And Jesus was a servant, we'd propose, not just so He could heal folks. Servanthood goes to the very nature of God. Will you join an army of compassionate servants? Citywide? Nationwide? Worldwide? Will you join a living Lord as He leads a dying world to a loving Lord?

SO ... What is God ABOUT? What is He UP TO?

Summary: Who is God? What is He about? What is His essence? We'd propose that God is "servanthood on legs," ... enlisting fellow servants to go for the feet of a broken world. He's ALL ABOUT restoring a broken world unto Himself by going for it's feet. We're doing it nationwide with single adult Christians. Will you follow?
