Our Kingdom Vision ...

Is based on our answer to this question:

"If God came down and set up a website for the 50,000,000 to 75,000,000 of us single Christians,  what would it would be about?
  • Dating skills?
  • Relationship advice & skills?
  • How to be a better employee?
  • How to be a better parent?
  • How to be a better friend?
We think perhaps not. Although those things are practical and relevant here in the 21st Century, we're thinking He might want THREE things for us. We'd propose He may in fact want ... and NOT in this order ... that we: 
  • MEET the person He has for us to meet ...
  • BECOME the people He has for us to become ...
  • SERVE the people He has for us to serve ...
  • ( Please ... tell us what YOU think. )

 
So, our vision: the largest community of single servants in history :

  1. Sure. Let's eliminate datelessness in evangelical America.   But let's also
  2. Grow in our walk with Him and in successful life and relationship skills.   Let's
  3. Be His people, regardless of the societies around us (Christian & others.)  Let's
  4. Become an army of servants (just like He'd be if He were here physically again. )
Question: If Jesus flew into our International airport tomorrow, and had an eight hour layover until His next departing flight, what do you suppose would He do with those eight hours?

Humor us: Would you pause for a moment before reading our answer in the next paragraph and answer that question while He listens to you?

Our answer: We can imagine Him, for the first couple of hours anyway, dropping to His knees (figuratively and literally) to tend to the needs of those in the airport. Healing. Teaching. Encouraging. Inviting folks into the Kingdom via servanthood. But then we imagine He'd hitchhike or take a cab or walk into the inner city of town to folks who are both hurting and willing to admit it. Along the way we imagine He'd point to believers and unbelievers alike and issue the identical "FOLLOW ME!" invitation He did 1,975 years ago. No change.

Well, imagine a "Domestic Peace Corps" of 1,000,000+ single Christians following Christ every month into the inner cities of a decaying America. (And imagine a spiritual growth and relationship skills training portal to reverse the 55% Christian divorce rate in America today )

Singles Of Faith.Com ... 1,000,000 (and growing) of those single Christians ... on the third Saturday of every month ... in the 218 U.S. cities with a population greater than 100,000, ... meeting in jeans and tee-shirts at a parking lot published here on the website ... heading en-masse into the most vulnerable ... the inner-city ... streets of their own communities ... doing exactly what Jesus would do ... exactly where Jesus would go ...

This is our vision.

Singles Of Faith.Com ... The labor supply force nationwide for thousands of existing inner-city ministries where, for eight hours a month, millions of hands, feet and hearts are on their knees for a dying world ...

  • rebuilding city blocks,
  • landscaping neighborhoods,
  • feeding the hungry,
  • clothing the homeless,
  • tutoring and mentoring children,
  • teaching adults and children to read,
  • visiting hospitals, prisons and rest homes, ...
  • etc., etc., etc ... (fill in YOUR hearts' service desire) ...

... doing exactly the things Jesus would do (see Matt. 25:31ff) if HE had an eight-hour layover in our cities.   His people as His hands, His feet, His heart.

  • 51% of the Households in America are SINGLE HOUSEHOLDS (2005 Census.)
  • 22% of the Households in America were SINGLE HOUSEHOLDS (1950 Census.)
  • Early in 2006, married households in America dropped into the minority for the first time in U.S. history

Imagine a 21st Century community of faith exhilaratingly similar to the 1st Century community of faith. Imagine millions of God's people impacting tens of millions of "soon-to-be" God's people. Meeting each other at the same time. What could be closer to His heart?

Will you join us?

Will you listen for the call of the Master as HE leads, daily, into a hurting world? Will you join us (if you're single, willing to follow His invitation?) Will you assist us (if you're married and willing to tell others about His invitation?)

A force of followers who can, in His providence and by His leading, restore a broken world unto Him.

 		 (1) unite the U.S. single community of faith for Him and in Him,
(2) eliminate datelessness in evangelical America,
(3) put a million a month single servant Christians on the streets of U.S. cities & towns.
 
Our Method :
 		 facilitate (on the Internet) a faith that works  for Him, and
demonstrate (on the ground) works of faith  for Him.
