Christian dating – a tremendous challenge that tens of millions (and the numbers are growing) of Christian singles are facing. But, if we are
to allow God to fill that heart-shaped hole in our hearts, and if we want to let Him use the Internet to do it, Christian dating via a genuine
Christian website is most likely the way He will choose to accomplish it.

Wise, intelligent Christian dating requires courage, boldness, risk, discernment ... all the things required for a successful relationship, right?
We have to be wise with our selection of which Christian online dating sites to use. We have to be courageous when putting our profile
out there on a website along with millions of Christain singles. We have to be bold in articulating our faith in online dating. And we
have to be discerning when we read the dating profiles of others. Too many write what they WISH they were like rather than who
God knows them to be.

So are the rewards of online internet dating worth the risks? Well, tens of millions of couples would tell you, "yes!" Over 20% of all marriages
in the U.S. Today are a result on successful online dating through Internet dating services. Christian singles are unlikely to meet the person
God has for them in bars. And what responsible single Christian wants to scour the pews at church, turning church into some kind of
dating scam? Christian singles groups at church are often mere magnets for hurting, wounded (albeit sincere) folks.

Ironically, pastors are painfully unaware, in most cases, of the challenges that Christian singles face. The vast majority are (fortunately for
them!) married, and have never been Christian and single as adults. (We pray that they never have to experience that dating challenge,
don't we? :) So a huge percentage of single Christian men and women feel alone in their online and real-world dating challenges.
But – in the same way that the Internet is merely a tool for job-hunting, house-hunting and bargain-hunting, today it has
become the primary tool for meeting thousands of single Christians on our way to meeting the one God has for us.
